About HKFEI
Founded in 2025, HKFEI is a non-profit organization that brings together academics and professionals to conduct policy research in high-impact focus areas using a collaborative, evidence-based approach.
HKFEI aims to strengthen fiscal sustainability, rebuild pathways to homeownership, support higher labour force participation and increase upward mobility for younger generations.
HKFEI has three core beliefs. First, we believe in the power of persuasive arguments. We aim to provide policy analyses that can persuade decision-makers to enact win-win policy solutions.
Second, we believe in commitment and focus. We are committed to deepen knowledge in our focus areas, and to continuously monitor policy progress to ensure sustainable impact.
Third, we believe in the power of passionate individuals. We are dedicated to training and supporting young policy entrepreneurs who will help build Hong Kong’s future.
