Hong Kong’s economic challenges—such as widening fiscal deficits and a broken housing ladder— require innovative thinking and creative solutions.
Founded in 2025, HKFEI is a non-profit organization that brings together academics and professionals to conduct policy research in high-impact focus areas using a collaborative, evidence-based approach.
First, we believe in the power of persuasive arguments. Because of this, our goal is to provide policy analysis that can persuade decision-makers and stakeholders to enact win-win policy solutions.
Second, we believe in commitment and focus. We are committed to deep knowledge in our focus areas, and to continuously monitoring policy progress to ensure lasting impact.
Third, we believe in the power of passionate individuals. To this end, we are dedicated to finding, training, and supporting young policy entrepreneurs who will help build Hong Kong’s future.
